Sport Nova Scotia's Sport Fund Community Grant -  This grant is designed to support community sport organizations in their efforts to increase participation in sport. The fund will support projects that are intended to increase sustainable quality participation based sport programs.This may include the expansion of existing programs or new programs.

Sport Nova Scotia's Provincial Sport Organization Project - This is funding that will be available to active and associate members of Sport Nova Scotia for organizational initiatives to increase participation and support coach and officials development.

Sport Nova Scotia's KidSport - KidSport is a national children's program that helps kids overcome the financial barriers preventing or limiting their participation in organized sport.

Nova Scotia Community, Culture and Heritage - Investing in our Future - A variety of funding programs, grants and awards are available for individuals and organizations in Nova Scotia.

Nova Scotia Community ACCESS-Ability Program - The grants cover up to two-thirds of the direct and indirect costs of renovations, installations, and/or equipment to a maximum of $10,000. 

Paralympic sport development fund and Parasport Jumpstart Fund The Canadian Paralympic Committee and our partners believe in supporting the development of para sport programming in your community.

Canadian Tire Jumpstart - The vision of Jumpstart is simple: Canada, where all kids have a chance to fulfill their dreams.


Challenged Athletes Foundation - It is the mission of the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) to provide opportunities and support to people with physical challenges, so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics.

GoodLife Kids -  providing an ongoing physical activity program for children and youth with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, ages 4 to 21 years.

The Daryl K. Seamen Canadian Hockey Fund - In addition to amateur ice hockey, proposals of interest include new initiatives that encourage young people to learn about, enjoy and play amateur sport of all kinds as well as those that increase equal access and promote participation in community-based amateur sport. 

Credit Union Atlantic - New in 2019, this category supports programs that encourage Haligonians to stay healthy through community sport, recreation and physical activity.
